Accelerated Business Administration

Bachelor of Science

The accelerated bachelor's degree in Business Administration prepares students for careers requiring an understanding of business functions and the ability to integrate and coordinate them. The program's goals are to provide graduates with the knowledge, skills, critical thinking ability, and technological competence essential to business decision-making. Students will be involved in conducting research, analyzing information, and communicating effectively. The required core of business courses covers management, marketing, economics, accounting, finance, and business law. Students may specialize in one of these functions by selecting appropriate elective courses. The Business Administration curriculum provides an excellent background for students to continue their education at the graduate level and beyond. Students enrolled in this major may qualify for the BS to MS degree option. To learn more about this option, please contact your admissions counselor.

The accelerated Business Administration program is a rigorous course of study in which students will be expected to complete many of their assignments outside of the class using the web, e-mail, and possibly meetings with other students.

Students can complete the degree in approximately two years depending on the number of credits transferred into the program and the number of courses taken during the academic year. Stevenson University will accept up to 90 credits from a regionally accredited four-year institution. The accelerated curriculum is scheduled in five or eight-week sessions throughout the year. Classes meet once a week on weekday evenings or Saturdays. Courses are also offered online.
