Premedical Option for Medical Technology Majors
Students planning to apply to medical or dental school have the option of adopting the Premedical Option of the Medical Technology curriculum. Students choosing this option of the MT curriculum will graduate with a B.S. degree in Medical Technology and will have fulfilled all requirements for applying to medical or dental schools.
Premed Option students follow the Medical Technology curriculum with the following changes: Calculus is required and two semesters of Organic Chemistry are required instead of Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Two semesters of General Physics with Calculus are also required.
