Nursing: Evening/Weekend Option

The Evening/Weekend Nursing option is a concentrated course of study that enables students to earn a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing. This program is designed for adult students who have completed all prerequisites and/or have a bachelor's degree in another discipline. With most of the nursing courses offered on an evening or weekend schedule, the option accommodates the busy adult student who works full time.

The Evening/Weekend Nursing Option is an intense program of study for students who are highly motivated, self-directed, and independent. Upon successful completion of all degree requirements, graduates earn a B.S. in Nursing and are eligible for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to become registered nurses. As with all Stevenson nursing programs, this option enables students to become competent nurses, who are valued professionals with specific goals for the future.

Why choose the Evening/Weekend Option?

  • Students can continue working full time while enrolled in this program because classes and clinical experiences are offered in convenient evening/weekend formats.
  • Stevenson is the only baccalaureate nursing program to offer an evening/weekend option.
  • Classes meet two evenings per week and every other weekend.

Stevenson also offers an accelerated RN to BS Nursing Option for registered nurses who wish to earh a bachelor's degree.
