Internships have two components, a class work component and an on-site internship component. Art 390 (the first internship course) must be taken PRIOR to a student doing his/her first internship. Art 490 (the second internship course) is taken concurrently with a student’s second internship.
Planning for a First Internship

See eligibility requirements to make sure you are on track. If you want to do a summer internship, take ART 390 during the Fall or Spring before. ART 390 is not offered in May term or Summer sessions.
