Transfer Scholarships

Stevenson offers two types of merit-based scholarships to transfer students.

SU Transfer Scholarship:
 
Transfer students who have demonstrated significant academic achievement may be awarded the Stevenson University Transfer Scholarship. All eligibility requirements listed below must be met for consideration. These merit-based awards may reach $14,000 annually for a maximum of four consecutive years. All applicants are automatically reviewed.

SU Honors Scholarship for Transfer Students:
 
Members of Phi Theta Kappa or another college honors society or program may be considered for the Stevenson University Honors Scholarship for Transfer Students. Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements listed below. This merit-based award is $2,000 annually for up to four consecutive years.

Eligibility Requirements:

In order to qualify for a SU Transfer Scholarship you must:

  • Be full-time bachelor's degree-seeking applicant without a previous bachelor's degree
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 from all previous colleges*
  • Complete Stevenson University's undergraduate admissions application process by May 1 for fall and November 1 for spring (priority deadlines).  No additional separate scholarship application is required.
  • Be accepted to Stevenson University
  • Provide proof of membership in PTK or other college honors program or society if seeking the SU Honors Scholarship for Transfer Students
  • Continue enrollment in a traditional, non-accelerated degree program

*Individuals with less than 28 completed academic credits or slightly less than a 2.8 college GPA may be considered with outstanding high school GPA or standardized test scores.

After priority deadlines, awards are granted on a funds-available basis.
