Departmental Challenge Exams

The content of departmental examinations is determined by the academic division chair.  Students must qualify to take exams by demonstrating that they have substantial experience and expertise in the subject area.

CLEP

CLEP, a program of the College Entrance Examination Board, is a nationwide system of credit-by-examination.  The University grants credit to SU students earning Stevenson University designated passing scores on CLEP exams.  For further information regarding acceptable exams and scores, please review the SU CLEP Manual (PDF). SU Assessment Exams

Computer Literacy Assessment: MS Windows and Office Applications (IS134) is a requirement for most, but not all, degree programs at SU. For information about receiving credit for IS134 by successfully passing this exam, review our Computer Literacy Assessment site.
