Placement Testing Schedule

Stevenson will offer the ACCUPLACER (for English and/or math placement) and the Computer Literacy Assessment (CLA) for incoming fall 2008 students from Saturday, April 26 through Friday, June 6.  Seating is limited, so you must call the Admissions office at 410-486-7001 or 1-877-468-6852 to register for a test date.

Saturday testing begins Saturday, April 26.  Weekday testing begins Monday, May 12.  All testing takes place in Garrison Hall on the Owings Mills, MD campus.  A schedule of dates and times follows:

Saturday Testing Saturday, April 26 – Saturday, May 31 CLA begins at 8:30 a.m. in GH 104 ACCUPLACER begins at 11:00 a.m. in GH 104 No testing on Saturday, May 10 or Saturday, May 24 (Memorial Day Weekend)

Weekday Testing Monday, May 12 – Friday, June 6 Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays ACCUPLACER begins at 9 a.m. in GH 104 ACCUPLACER begins at 1 p.m. in GH 104 No testing on Friday, May 16 or Monday, May 26 Tuesdays and Thursdays CLA begins at 10 a.m. in GH 104 ACCUPLACER begins at 1 p.m. in GH 104

Test Day Instructions

• Arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled test time
  Bring a photo ID
• Please know your SU ID to log-in to the test (this ID is located on the lower-left hand corner of your Placement Information Report)
• For Saturday tests, meet in GH 104 (signs will be posted)
• For weekday tests, meet in the Admissions Lobby

Information about ACCUPLACER & CLA

• ACCUPLACER is un-timed and you may leave the testing room to take a break as necessary.  Most students taking both English and math finish in about 2.5 hours.
• NO calculators are permitted on the math test.  The test provides an on-screen calculator when needed.

• The Computer Literacy Assessment is timed.  You will have two hours to complete the CLA.
