Each year Stevenson University receives thousands of applications for admission into our freshman class.  Stevenson employs a selective admission process whereby we consider a student’s academic transcript including coursework and grades, writing ability, extracurricular and community activities, letters of recommendation, and standardized test scores (SAT and/or ACT). 

For the fall 2007 semester, we received over 3,100 applications and offered admission to 64% of those who applied.  Below you will find a brief academic profile for those students who applied and were admitted this year, as well as a geo-demographic profile of undergraduate student body.

Freshmen:
Average High School GPA (unweighted): 3.4
Middle 50% admitted: 3.1 – 3.7

Average SAT (CR+M combined): 1050
Middle 50% admitted: 950 – 1150

Average ACT composite score: 24

Honors Program:
