Important Dates for Accepted Transfer and Readmitted Students

Spring 2009

November 2008

  • Watch by mail for your acceptance packet of information regarding advising/registration appointments, enrollment and housing intent forms, deposit, and orientation.
  • If you haven’t already, complete the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. Although this form is optional, all students are encouraged to complete it.  The SU federal financial aid code is 002107.
  • If you are a member of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society or another college honors society or program, provide proof of membership (if not already submitted) to be considered for an additional $2,000 scholarship.
  • View your credit evaluation to date on WebXpress on the SU website.
  • Eligible students will receive a merit-based SU Transfer Scholarship award and agreement by mail, as well as a SU Honors Scholarship if applicable.  There is no separate scholarship application. All full-time students without a previous bachelor’s degree and interested in a traditional, non-accelerated program will be considered if their applications were complete by November 1.  Applications completed after this date will be reviewed for scholarships if funds are still available.
  • Need-based financial aid awards (including loans, grants and work study) based on your 2008-2009 FAFSA will be mailed on a rolling basis.
  • Schedule placement tests if required. (See acceptance packet for further information.)
