Admission Requirements for International Transfer and Graduate Students
International students applying as either transfer or graduate students must submit the following:
Application for Admission - We suggest that you apply online.
Proof of English Proficiency - International students who have completed courses equivalent to Stevenson University's ENG 151 and ENG 152 with a grade of "C" or better are except from providing TOEFL scores.
Transcripts and Certificates of Previous Academic Work - International students who have attended or who are currently attending a U.S. post-secondary institution must submit official transcripts from all institutions. Students who have completed post-secondary coursework outside of the U.S. must submit these records for evaluation directly to either World Education Services or the American Association of Collegiate and Admissions Officers. Transfer students who have completed less than 30 credits ( as determined by an evaluation will be required to submit an evaluation of the official secondary school transcript.
Current F-1 Transfer or Graduate School Documents - An international student currently attending another post-secondary institution in the United States must submit a copy of his or her current I-20, I-94, U.S. visa, passport ID page, and a letter/certificate of eligibility from the current U.S. institution indicating eligibility to transfer.
Financial Resource Statement - All applications holding or intending to seek an F-1 student visa must complete the International Student Declaration of Finances (PDF) form. Certificates of Eligibility (Form I-20) and admission decisions will not be released until this information is provided.
Official Bank Statement - An official statement from the international student's bank verifying the student's financial resources for the entire cost of attendance for one year must be submitted along with a literal English translation if necessary. Additional Information for International Transfer and Graduate Students
Enrollment Deposit - The enrollment deposit of $300 is applied to the accepted student's tuition bill. This Deposit is non-refundable after May 1st for fall entrance and December 1st for spring entrance.
Stevenson University Health Form - The University's health form, downloadable from our website, must be completed in its entirety and mailed to the Stevenson University Wellness Center before June 1st for fall entrance and November 1st for spring entrance. Until all required immunizations have been received and this form submitted, international students will not be allowed to start classes or move into the residence halls (should they choose to live on campus). Proof of medical insurance is required for all international students attending Stevenson University.

Issuance of the I-20 - A Certificate of Eligibility (I-20) is issued only after the student has been accented for admission. Transfer students on an F-1 visa must take a minimum of 12 credits each semester, while graduate students on an F-1 visa must take a minimum or 9 credit per semester.
Scholarships - International transfer and graduate students are automatically considered for merit scholarships. The scholarship review is based on secondary school performance and SAT or ACT scored. Federal financial aid programs are restricted to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
