Campaign Priority: Strengthen the Annual Fund

Goal: $2,500,000

Including the Annual Fund as part of the Campaign is a clear endorsement of the important role that voluntary, annual support plays in the life of the College. In many ways, this fund is the most important support that Villa Julie receives because it touches every area of the College. For example, the Annual Fund contributes to: library books and other research resources, computers and technology for students, laboratory upgrades and supply maintenance, athletic equipment and team transportation, visiting scholars and artists, faculty salaries that attract and retain highly qualified educators, student scholarships and student life programs, program enhancements, and maintenance of buildings and grounds.

Of all of the campaign initiatives, the Annual Fund has the most direct and immediate impact on the student experience. Alumni, parent, and faculty and staff participation affects opportunities for funding from foundations and corporations as well. Colleges that can boast a higher percentage of participation are better positioned to receive financial support from external organizations.

Every gift to The Campaign for Villa Julie College is important and valued. So, even as the College takes on major initiatives such as the construction of new buildings, a contribution to the Annual Fund will make a significant difference.  There are many ways to give to VJC. We invite and encourage your participation in the Annual Fund and in this important Campaign.


Strong Annual Fund support helps to ensure that Film and Video majors may continue to perfect their craft with state-of-the-art equipment.
