Health promotion and safety of the students is our goal
SU Student Health Forms are required for all full-time students
An additional health form is required for student athletes
Physical examinations are good for one year
Students living in SU housing are required to be vaccinated against meningitis
It is important for each student to be knowledgeable about his/her health problems, such as:
Allergies to medications and foods
Allergies to bee stings and if Epi-pen is required, the student must carry it at all times
Medications (including a list of medications, doses, frequency and why the medication is prescribed)
For more serious health conditions, such as diabetes, a medical alert identifier is highly recommended.
For those students living in SU housing who are more than 45 minutes from home, it is highly recommended to find a health care provider in the surrounding area
Student should have appropriate health insurance and carry a health insurance card with them at all times
Counseling is available to all students
There is no additional cost for counseling services at this time
Students may experience adjustments and challenges to college life--this is normal--we are here to help
Confidentiality and privacy are maintained for all students
